Williams is a true small town, but it was filled with extremely nice people and amazing food. Our first night we went to The Singing Pig, where A ordered fried pig balls. No, they were not real pig balls, but they tasted yummy. The people are the nicest people you will ever meet.
The next day we drove up to the Grand Canyon and spent the day exploring. We went to the normal spots and did the normal touristy things, but also went to a spot that the owners of the B&B recommended. We parked in a random little "parking lot" off the side of the road that was unmarked, walked about a mile and then came out to this wide open, undisturbed view of the canyon. We were the only people there and so we spent time looking around and having a picnic lunch.
That night we went to Red Raven for dinner. One of the best dinners we have ever had and it was accompanied by live music!
I cant wait to go to other areas of the Grand Canyon in the future.
